Each pallet is packaged with protective corners, plastic wrap, a wooden top board, and tape, and is clearly labeled with the product name, specifications, and quantity.
Is it safe to use on stairs and ramps?
Absolutely, it's one of its primary uses. However, for permanent installation on slopes, it MUST be fully adhered with industrial-grade adhesive across the entire back, not just the edges. Loose-laid mats on a slope create a major trip and slip hazard.
Is it really slip-resistant in oil and grease?
Yes, but only if you choose the correct material. A Nitrile (NBR) rubber mat will maintain excellent grip in oil and grease, as the material swells slightly and resists degradation. A standard SBR mat will become slippery and break down when exposed to oils.
How long does it last?
A: With proper use and maintenance, a quality stud mat can last 5-15 years in high-traffic areas. Lifespan depends on material, thickness, and abuse (e.g., forklift traffic will wear it faster than foot traffic). Inspect periodically for excessive stud wear or tearing.
